Modern teaching methods such as group discussion, seminars, and question answers are used in teaching learning process.students also are taught to present their ideas through ppt. Computers, internet and LED projector are also used for Power Point Presentation Teaching in the concerned subject .

Strengths:
- Strong faculty qualification, talented and dedicated, knowledgeable and cooperative faculty, great collaboration and good communication among faculty.
- Merit in the University Exams.
- Supportive working environment among department members
- Flexible curriculum management with devoted teachers.
- Easy to involve students in projects via independent study
Weaknesses:
- Poor attendance of Students
- Inactive in research funding. Develop more national/state level grant proposals and increase/establish funds available for RAs
Senior design course supported by all faculty which provides students flexibilities in choosing a project having their interests and active participation in the research
- Too much teaching load Need a faculty for teaching graduate courses in programming languages and operating systems.
Opportunities:
- Many practices in the field as indeed the whole of society transformed by the internet; need
- for more direct internet-based research; computer and information sciences in a key position
- Inward mobility increasing fast, especially through new international Master’s and doctoral programmes
- Finland a “good investment” thanks to its solid economic situation and infrastructures
- Clearer career opportunities for young researchers through the tenure-track system
- New businesses created in Finland thanks to a structural transformation in the field
Challenges:
- Campus Placements,
- Proficiency in Spoken Abilities of students hailing from rural and educationally backward area etc.
Plan of action of the department for the next five years:
- Opportunities to find research grants from industry and government agencies
- To organize Regional/ State/ National/ International seminars/ conferences/ workshop/ symposiums etc.
- Increase engagement/external funding thru new center of excellence
- Make the department more research oriented
- The department will try to career development and more employability of the students.
